At first sight, the title might make it sound like we're filling our brains with, shall we say, knowledge, but we're not.
We are uploading the brain itself, or more precisely its contents, to some kind of back-up storage, so that it can be downloaded back into a cloned body. I mean, if the entity in question needs a physical body at all.
You think it's scifi? You'd be surprised how many partial results already work. Obviously there are still difficulties, but they will be overcome. One can read already that the possibility of this is being used to lure computer scientists to some big tech companies.
