Some of the Liberal Democrats and some of the Conservatives are actually meritocrats, but they are not yet aware of this fact. :)
It's actually not hard to identify with that. All you have to do is reject the hyperbole of the left and right, pay a little more attention to public policy solutions to solve problems and there you go... you can call yourself a meritocrat.
