The Fundamental Problem

The fundamental problem is not that there are banks or that there are very rich people, but that those with lots of money are circumventing the law, distorting the rules, concentrating political power around themselves and pushing everything increasingly in that direction, against the public interest. As politicians are the beneficiaries of this, the circle is complete. The world is slowly but surely descending into a chaotic, out-of-control, money- and power-driven degradation of the masses struggling to make a living, without a vision, where profit comes before everything else, when profit should come after man if we don't want to cut down the tree under us.
