Nepotism is one of the most pernicious techniques of social repression. For instance, it is used by the self-proclaimed rulers of the Soviet successor states, which have been transformed into autocracies. They have turned countries into family businesses. Familiar from home?
As soon as the current self-appointed power elite is gone, very strict anti-nepotism laws will be needed. Of course, a good law is only really good if it is adhered to and enforced. It is also very important that the immunity of parliamentarians should be lifted. They should be treated exactly the same as any other citizen.
Let us notice that this practice is not side- or party-dependent. It applies to practically all politicians in some way. They simply like to fill public life with their family members because they can squeeze more money out of the public purse and more effectively pursue their selfish goals (or the goals of their interest groups).
