About keeping people in dependency

Being in dependency. This is the key concept in today's societies. It is also true in liberalism, but even more so in illiberalism. Hence people selling their votes for food or fuel or just the lying words of a smiling, suit-wearing, good-looking politician who will recklessly promise you anything if you vote for him. It is safe to say that this is the total failure of democracy and that what works badly, or even very badly, must be replaced by something that works well.
